Currently On the evening of Tuesday the 14th of April 2026, Odyssey Malta was honoured at the Malta Tourism Awards, winning the “Responsible Tourism Development Award – Best Visitor Attraction 2025.”
The “Best Visitor Attraction” award highlights Odyssey’s significant contribution to the local tourism landscape. By blending 7,000 years of Maltese heritage with world-class technology, Odyssey has created a sustainable, high-quality experience that appeals to international travellers and local residents alike. This award underscores Mercury’s vision of delivering a contemporary, world-class destination that enhances Malta’s reputation on the Mediterranean stage.
Winner of the Themed Entertainment and Attractions Project of the Year at AV Awards in London
In November 2025, Odyssey achieved international acclaim at the AV Awards in London. Competing against the world’s most innovative projects, Odyssey’s technical partner, Sarner International, was awarded the top prize for the design and delivery of the attraction. The global judging panel singled out the project for its flawless execution of the state-of-the-art 5D flying theatre and the multi-sensory “Dark Walk,” which redefines how history is told through immersive technology.
Sarner International delivered an impressive, immersive project with strong technical execution and a clear focus on sustainability through intelligent show control. Judges praised the attention to detail, thoughtful design, and the impactful experience created for visitors.
